The author expect the reader to enjoy the story and to me maintain the feeling in each events.

The story is not both tragic or frightening. It is fun and it is about family's love. The author wants the reader to laugh and sometimes cry because some scene is really touchy. The story is not put us into anger or fear situation.

There was no fight in this story. It has only support by sibling after their parents passed away. The author seems to trust the character and also like them.

Symbolism

2. Are there any objects which seem to have a symbolic meaning? What are their meaning?
The brown bag which was Buddy carried along the lobby and the rich people is not suppose to carry it.
3. Do any people act as symbols in the story? What do they represent?
Charley, Buddy's brother who is not going to present himself because he though that he would shame himself and also his brother. So he just act like he is Buddy's follower.
4. Do aspects of the story's setting seem symbolic? In what way?
The setting of the story does show how important Buddy's brother is. The setting shows Buddy is the main character.

Symbol used throughout the story. The writer showed that Buddy's brother is a good person since the story started. In the end, the writer showed that even though they were adult brother still care of Buddy.
The symbol in this story is the love between Buddy and his brother Charley and also his former life.
